A place in the sun! Lily Aldridge luxuriates with fellow models in Sicilian resort town in new Salvatore Ferragamo advert

Lily Aldridge, looking at the top of her game, was part of a trio of models who basked in the sun for a new Salvatore Ferragamo advert.

Filmed in Taormina and directed by Stephen Kidd, the video – entitled Among Friends – is an entry in the Italian fashion brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 campaign.

Andrés Velencoso and McKenna Hellam joined the Victoria’s Secret Angel, taking in ravishing views of the Ioian sea.

The 31-year-old kicked off the video stood at the balcony of a luxurious pink house, showcasing her knockout figure in yellow.

Her full-sleeved dress draped loosely about the top half of her torso, tightening as it drew closer to her waist.

The hem was cut off about her knees, and she elegantly clashed against that outfit by way of large black sunglasses.

At one point whilst she was in that ensemble, she could be seen hauling about a sand-coloured edition of what appeared to be one of the brand’s ‘Sofia’ bags.

At another, she was seen strolling through a lush garden in a navy blue number splashed with floral patterns and heavily pleated all over.

Purple flowers all about her, she engaged in a bit of conversation with the 38-year-old, whose off-white dress shirt had slightly rolled-up sleeves.

Ferragamo’s New Campaign Will Make You Long for Spring

If winter really isn’t your thing, you may want to look away. Because Salvatore Ferragamo’s new campaign for its spring/summer 2017 collection is all lush garden paradises and soft Mediterranean breezes.

Literally, the Peter Lindbergh shot photos and accompanying short film—featuring models Lily Aldridge, Andres Velencoso, and McKenna Hellam—captures the Mediterranean beauty of Taormina, Sicily, a small hilltop town on the east coast of the island.

Figuratively, the ready-to-wear collection—suits, button-down shirts, tailored trousers, and knitwear in dusty hues of sand and olive, navy and cerulean blues, and gray—evokes what Ferragamo calls the “splendor of life.” It all adds up to a soft, at times sweetly melancholy, presentation of life in a Mediterranean resort town. And it all feels extremely, perfectly Italian.

Basically, if you’re seeking a look of casual Continental elegance this Spring, this is the collection for you. All you’ll need to cap it off is a vintage Alfa Romeo Spider and a long stretch of empty days that you can fill with romance and maybe an Aperol spritz or two.
